Assisteens® Auxiliary

Assisteens^® Auxiliary is open to high school students in ninth through twelfth grade.

There are five meetings per year held the last Sunday of the month, August through April. There is a short business meeting following parliamentary procedure followed by completion of a philanthropic project.

Projects vary each year and are voted on by the membership.

Our philanthropic programs have included:

• Operation School Bell^® - A program that clothes elementary school children in need with school uniforms and hygiene kits. Assisteens assemble hygiene kits and assist with year-end inventory.
  


• Celebration of Giving - A program that helps to make Christmas special for patients at Texas Children's Hospital and families at Star of Hope Mission.
  


• Senior Care ® Assisteens caroled during the holidays at a retirement/nursing home facility.
• 
  Assisteens donated, packaged and mailed supplies to US military troops serving in the Middle East .
