Annual Spring Fundraising Gala
"Riviera Rendezvous" Gala, A Night to Remember
The 42nd Anniversary "Riviera Rendezvous" Gala was held Saturday, April 19th at the Hilton Post Oak. Assistance League of Houston honored Dr. ZoAnn Dreyer, Medical Director of the Texas Children's Cancer Center Long-Term Survivor Program, Mr. Stephen M. Johnson, President and CEO of J. Ray McDermott, S.A., and Dr. John E. Sawyer, County School Superintendent of Harris County Department of Education. Guests enjoyed dancing to music provided by the Kit Reid Orchestra and bidding on fabulous silent and live auction items. The event raised more than $170,000 and proceeds will be used to support Assistance League of Houston's philanthropic programs.
We extend heartfelt thanks to Vicki Vines, Mistress of Ceremonies and Auctioneer as well as Katie McCall, ABC 13 News Anchor for their assistance with the evening. We would also like to thank all our supporters whose contributions and support have helped make the Gala possible and successful.
