The Kids on the Block

The Kids on the Block is a unique educational program that was developed in 1977 by a nationally recognized educator, Barbara Aiello, to teach children how to accept and appreciate differences among people. In 1984, Assistance League of Houston established a puppet troupe. Currently, our chapter presents The Kids on the Block shows to Houston Independent Schools, Spring Branch Schools and Harris County Head Start Program.

We are currently offering the following shows:
