The Assistance League of Houston Thrift Shop is one of the principal sources of funding for Assistance League of Houston's philanthropic projects and services. All items offered for resale are donated by members, local merchants, and others in the community. The Thrift Shop, managed by a full-time manager and staffed by volunteers, has for sale a wide variety of goods, including clothing, kitchen ware, furniture, electronics, collectibles, books and household items. In 2006-2007, gross sales were more than $170,000.00.
